We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 4th placed Hapoel Jerusalem (11-8) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Maccabi Rishon (10-9) 91-83 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 54-40 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The game was also dominated by American players. Forward Julian Wright (203-87, college: Kansas) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. point guard Willie Warren (193-89, college: Oklahoma, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points and 7 assists. Four Maccabi Rishon players scored in double figures.
