No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Pinheiros (16-9) outleveled on the road 14th ranked Joinville (9-17) 93-73 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Pinheiros. Joinville was better in third quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for naturalized American Shamell Stallworth (195-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points. The former international power forward Mineiro Ferreira (208-88) helped adding 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Pinheiros players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Vinicius Telo (203-85, college: Cameron) with 20 points and the former international power forward Ricardo Probst (200-76) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds.
