Rather expected game when 4th placed Tarbes (12-9) was defeated at home by second ranked Bourges (17-4) 61-48 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Bourges. Tarbes was better in third quarter 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bourges forced 20 Tarbes turnovers. International Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-88) stepped up and scored 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and international guard Celine Dumerc (169-82) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Spanish guard Gabriela Ocete (170-88) with 14 points and Serbian forward Jovana Rad (187-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Bourges have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 17-4 record behind leader Lattes Montp. Tarbes at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. Bourges will face Villeneuve D'Ascq (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
