Regular Season Round 20: LF Future - BG Lulea 90-69
Date: March 7, 2013
Very expected game when 11th ranked BG Lulea (3-17) was crushed on the road by third ranked LF Future (16-4) 90-69 on Thursday. The game without a history. LF Future led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. LF Future forced 25 BG Lulea turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Australian swingman Timothy Kearney (200-86) who added 13 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals during the contest. Four LF Future players scored in double figures. Forward Jesper Hallberg (196-95) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 20 rebounds and point guard Marcus Grahn (183-95) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LF Future have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of North leader, which they share with Taby. Loser BG Lulea keeps the eleventh place with 17 games lost. LF Future will have a break next round. BG Lulea will play on the road against KFUM Uppsala (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
