Bottom-ranked Suzano managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of nine consecutive loses on Thursday night. This time they won against fourth-ranked Vivo/Franca in Sao Paulo 75-71. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Vivo/Franca. Vivo/Franca trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 25-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 71-75 at the end of the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Suzano made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was guard Paulo Nery (188-81) who scored 24 points.
