Regular Season Round 22: Paris-Levallois - Cholet 84-70

Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Paris-Levallois (12-10) won against at home 12th ranked Cholet (9-13) 84-70 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Paris-Levallois. Cholet was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Paris-Levallois looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for American forward Sean May (206-84, college: N.Carolina) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 rebounds. U.S. Virgin Islands-Antiguan guard Julius Hodge (201-83, college: N.Carolina St.) contributed with 10 points and 9 assists for the winners. American point guard A.J. Slaughter (191-87, college: W.Kentucky) replied with 19 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Aubrey Coleman (193-87, college: Houston) added 11 points in the effort for Cholet. Cholet's coach Jean Manuel Sousa rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Paris-Levallois moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Roanne. Loser Cholet keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Paris-Levallois will face STB Le Havre (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Cholet will play against the league's second-placed Strasbourg IG.
