An interesting game took place in Stargard where higher ranked MOSiR Krosno (16-12) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Spojnia (14-14) 80-62 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MOSiR Krosno. Spojnia forced 19 MOSiR Krosno turnovers and outrebounded them 35-23 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Spojnia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Tomasz Stepien (193-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and forward Hubert Pabian (202-89, agency: Promotex) who added 19 points during the contest. At the losing side point guard Kamil Laczynski (180-89) responded with 25 points and point guard Dariusz Oczkowicz (183-81) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Spojnia moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser MOSiR Krosno keeps the fourth position with 12 games lost. Spojnia will face Polonia (#12) in Przemysl in the next round where they are favorite. MOSiR Krosno will play at home against Astoria Bydg. (#13) in Bydgoszcz.
