The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Den Bosch (25-5) on the court of sixth ranked Den Helder K. on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Den Helder K. 67-60. Den Bosch was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Storm Warren (200-88, college: LSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and guard Mark Hill (180-87, college: CS Northridge, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Den Helder K.'s coach Jean-Marc Jaumin used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Matt Bauscher (188-85, college: Boise St.) responded with 15 points and 4 assists and guard Dejuan Wright (190-88, college: FIU, agency: Court Side) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Den Helder K. maintains sixth place with 16-16 record. Defending champion Den Bosch still keeps top position with five games lost. Den Helder K. are looking forward to face league's second-placed Leiden on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Den Bosch will have a break next round.
