Sixth-ranked Chiba Jets (19-18) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Shiga L-Stars (25-14). The visitors from Shiga managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected easier game. Chiba Jets were ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 22-18 charge of Shiga L-Stars, which allowed them to win the game. American power forward Shelton Colwell (202-80, college: Missouri St.) nailed 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Panamanian forward Dionisio Gomez Camargo (203-80, college: Arkansas) accounted for 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. They share it with Kyoto Hannar.. Shiga L-Stars will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
