Very predictable result when third ranked Aiolos Trikallon (15-4) won against at home bottom-ranked Niki Volou (4-15) 81-68 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Aiolos Trikallon. Niki Volou managed to win fourth quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aiolos Trikallon made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Aiolos Trikallon outrebounded Niki Volou 39-28 including 24 on the defensive glass. Niki Volou at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. They share it with Doxa Lefkadas. Aiolos Trikallon will meet Doxa Lefkadas (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Niki Volou will play against Pagrati in Athens and hope to secure a win.
