A1 top team - Panathinaikos (19-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Ikaros Kalitheas (11-9) in Glyfada 79-53. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ikaros Kalitheas. The game was mostly controlled by Panathinaikos. Ikaros Kalitheas managed to win second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ikaros Kalitheas to just 7 points in first quarter. American power forward Diana Delva (188-88, college: Hartford) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. point guard Aristea Maglara (168-83) contributed with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners.
