Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Shinshu BW (16-24) was defeated on the road by second ranked Shimane Magic (28-12) 81-73 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Shimane Magic especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Shinshu BW's players. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Brandon Freeman (191-83, college: UALR, agency: Court Side) chipped in 21 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Michael Fey (213-83, college: UCLA) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Edward Morris (205-84, college: Pittsburg St.) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Shimane Magic used an opportunity after Niigata Albirex lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Shinshu BW lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 24 games lost. Shimane Magic will face Gunma (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
