Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Sutor Montegranaro (7-15) lost to seventh ranked Trenkwalder RE (13-9) in Reggio Emilia 83-100 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 58-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Troy Bell (186-80, college: Boston Coll.) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American-Swiss Greg Brunner (201-83, college: Iowa) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Trenkwalder RE players scored in double figures. Trenkwalder RE's coach Massimiliano Menetti used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Philadelphia, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) replied with 22 points and 7 rebounds and forward Luca Campani (206-90) added 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Sutor Montegranaro.
