Very predictable result when sixth ranked Cantu (14-8) won against on the road 11th ranked Vanoli Cremona (8-14) 87-78 on Sunday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-18. But Vanoli Cremona won third quarter 21-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cantu shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Pietro Aradori (195-88) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized Uruguayan point guard Nicolas Mazzarino (181-75, agency: Players Group) contributed with 20 points for the winners. International point guard Luca Vitali (201-86) replied with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Croatian forward Hrvoje Peric (203-85) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Vanoli Cremona. Four Vanoli Cremona players scored in double figures. Cantu moved-up to fourth place, which they share with EA7 Armani and Montepaschi. Vanoli Cremona at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Cantu will face VL Pesaro (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Vanoli Cremona will play against Armani Milano (#5).
