Svendborg recorded the second straight win in the quarterfinal series versus Vaerlose. The game without a history. Svendborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international guard Adama Darboe (190-86) scored 31 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Svendborg players scored in double figures. American guard Richard Delk (193-86, college: Troy) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Justin Baker (203-89, college: Utah Valley) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
