A very interesting game took place in Rosh Pina. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Bnei Hasharon (8-12) to eleventh ranked Galil Gilboa (8-12) 93-92 in the fight for the ninth place. The hosts were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 7-point deficit before their 21-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Rakim Sanders (193-89, college: Fairfield) who scored 31 points. The former international Dagan Yavzuri (193-85) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Jumaine Jones (203-79, college: Georgia) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Ben Rice (195-90, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) added 22 points respectively for the guests. Four Galil Gilboa and five Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Galil Gilboa moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Bnei Hasharon. Bnei Hasharon lost third consecutive game. Galil Gilboa's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (#5) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
