No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (13-8) beat on the road bottom-ranked Maccabi Kiryat Bialik (3-18) 87-79 on Tuesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 25-17. But Maccabi Kiryat Bialik won second period 24-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ironi Ramat Gan forced 23 Maccabi Kiryat Bialik turnovers. Maccabi Kiryat Bialik was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for the former international power forward Amit Tamir (208-79, college: California) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. American power forward Keith Ramsey (205-87, college: Missouri, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) answered with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Dror Davidi (190-84) added 21 points in the effort for Maccabi Kiryat Bialik. Maccabi Kiryat Bialik's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Ironi Ramat Gan moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hapoel Afula. Maccabi Kiryat Bialik lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost.
