Bottom-ranked STU (0-16) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 16th consecutive match to eighth ranked Sokhumi (6-10) 79-66. The game without a history. Sokhumi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sokhumi outrebounded STU 53-33 including a 39-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Grigol Shvangiradze (196-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Center Sergo Atvashovili (223-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Forward Giorgi Pirvelashvili (201-88) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds and forward Tato Chachibaia (201-90) added 16 points in the effort for STU. Four STU players scored in double figures. STU's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sokhumi moved-up to seventh place. STU at the other side still closes the standings. Sokhumi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Dinamo Tbilisi.
