An interesting game was also a 31-point tough home loss of Stelmet ZG in a game in Zielona Gora versus Anwil (#4) 90-59. The game without a history. Anwil led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Anwil had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Tony Weeden (186-83, college: Chicago St., agency: Three Eye Sports) nailed 21 points and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international point guard Krzysztof Szubarga (182-84) accounted for 7 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists. American-Georgian swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for Stelmet ZG in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anwil will meet at home PGE Turow (#4) in the next round. Stelmet ZG will play against Energa Czarni in Slupsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
