Date: March 16, 2013
No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Haga Haninge (11-11) defeated at home 11th ranked Helsingborg (5-15) 88-71 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Haga Haninge. Helsingborg managed to win third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Haga Haninge looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Tomas Oberg (183-82) stepped up and scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and point guard Bjorn Johansson (190-83) chipped in 25 points and 5 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Haga Haninge maintains sixth place in South with 11-11 record. Loser Helsingborg keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Haga Haninge will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Helsingborg will play against IK Eos (#3) in Lund and hope to secure a win.
