The game without a history. TV 1862 Langen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TV 1862 Langen outrebounded Herzoege Wolfenbuettel 36-25 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when TV 1862 Langen made 8 blocks. It was a very good performance for American power forward Martinis Woody (201-82, college: Benedict) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 6 blocks. Swingman Joscha Domdey (194-89) contributed with 20 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four TV 1862 Langen players scored in double figures.
