An interesting game took place in Mogi das Cruzes where higher ranked Minas (14-14) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Mogi (11-18) 75-66 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-12. But Minas won second period 15-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mogi will meet at home higher ranked Sao Jose/Vinac (#6) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Minas will play against Uberlandia where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
