Sixteenth-ranked Palmeiras (8-20) gave a tough game to twelfth ranked SKY/Basquete (12-15) in Aldeota on Saturday. SKY/Basquete managed to secure only two-point victory 85-83. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Palmeiras won third quarter 22-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Palmeiras used huge pressure winning it 20-14 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 12-14. SKY/Basquete had a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when SKY/Basquete made 9 blocks. The former international power forward William Drudi (206-81) scored 20 points to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Matheus Costa (179-80) chipped in 13 points and 7 assists during the contest.
