Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Marghera (15-10) beat on the road 11th ranked San Salvatore (8-17) 61-52 on Saturday. Marghera forced 24 San Salvatore turnovers. Bulgarian swingman Daniela Georgieva (184-86) stepped up and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and guard Marta Savelli (175-82) chipped in 20 points and 4 steals. At the losing side center Stefania D'Arenzo (185-78) responded with 8 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Anna Lussu (163-85) scored 17 points and 4 steals.
