Regular Season Round 21: Netanya - Hapoel T-A 70-62

Date: March 17, 2013
Rather expected game when 8th ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (9-12) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked GreenTops Netanya (11-10) 70-62. GreenTops Netanya dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Hapoel Tel-Aviv's 24. It was a good game for American power forward Marco Killingsworth (203-82, college: Indiana, agency: Avi Zilberman) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Raymar Morgan (202-88, college: Michigan St.) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international Matan Naor (195-80) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and American Curtis Kelly (205-88, college: Kansas St.) added 14 points in the effort for Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Hapoel Tel-Aviv's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. GreenTops Netanya moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hapoel J-M and Maccabi Rishon. Newly promoted Hapoel Tel-Aviv dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. GreenTops Netanya's next round opponent will be Hapoel Holon (#11) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play against Maccabi Ashdod (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
