Rather predictable result when twelfth ranked Air Avellino (8-14) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Angelico Biella (5-18) 77-72 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Angelico Biella won third quarter 26-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Air Avellino shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. It was a great evening for Serbian-Montenegrin forward Nikola Dragovic (206-87, college: UCLA) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Taquan Dean (193-83, college: Louisville) helped adding 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Air Avellino players scored in double figures. American forward Kevinn Pinkney (207-83, college: Nevada) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and American-Montenegrin point guard Taylor Rochestie (185-85, college: Washington St.) scored 20 points. Air Avellino have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain twelfth place with 8-14 record, which they share with Oknoplast BO. Loser Angelico Biella stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Air Avellino will face higher ranked Enel Brindisi (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Angelico Biella will play against Umana Venezia (#8).
