There was no surprise in Athens where 9th ranked Ilysiakos (6-14) was defeated by fourth ranked Panionios (16-4) 77-62 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Nikos Pappas (195-90, agency: FCM) who scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Landon Milbourne (201-87, college: Maryland, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Nigerian-American forward Aloysius Anagonye (203-81, college: Michigan St.) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Terrell Stoglin (185-91, college: Maryland) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Panionios moved-up to third place, which they share with PAOK. Loser Ilysiakos keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost. Panionios will face bottom-ranked Panelefsiniakos (#14) in Eleusina in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ilysiakos will play at home against Apollon Patras (#6).
