Fourth ranked Taranto (12-5) crushed at home 8th ranked Pall.Pozzuoli (4-13) by 33 points 88-55, which is the biggest margin this round. It looked good early as Pall.Pozzuoli took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Taranto had a 25-17 second period charge getting the lead and Pall.Pozzuoli was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 55-88. Taranto dominated on the defensive end, holding Pall.Pozzuoli to just 6 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pall.Pozzuoli's 16. Taranto forced 20 Pall.Pozzuoli turnovers and outrebounded them 40-17 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds.
