We should mention about the upset which took place in JDA Dijon, where higher ranked JDA Dijon (12-12) lost at home to eleventh ranked STB Le Havre (11-13) 82-89 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of JDA Dijon. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 55-44 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. STB Le Havre looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. JDA Dijon was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Romanian forward Vlad Moldoveanu (209-88, college: American) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. JDA Dijon's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. STB Le Havre maintains eleventh position with 11-13 record, which they share with Cholet. Loser JDA Dijon dropped to the eighth place with 12 games lost. STB Le Havre will face higher ranked Le Mans (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
