Regular Season Round 22: Nice - Pau Orthez 82-52

LF2 top team - Nice (19-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Pau Lacq Orthez (14-7) 82-52. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Pau Lacq Orthez. Nice forced 26 Pau Lacq Orthez turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Jeanne Senghor (191-82) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Fabienne Constant (186-86) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Nice players scored in double figures. Nice's coach Rachid Meziane felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Senegalese forward Mariame Dia (185-78) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Senegalese forward Awa Gueye (182-78) added 10 points in the effort for Pau Lacq Orthez. Nice maintains first position with 19-2 record. Newly promoted Pau Lacq Orthez keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Nice are looking forward to face LTB 29 (#4) in Pleyber-Christ in the next round. Pau Lacq Orthez will play at home against Laveyron and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
