There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked San Salvatore (9-17) edged on the road higher ranked Alghero (13-13) 58-55 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 35-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. San Salvatore forced 24 Alghero turnovers.
