Second Stage Round 3: Siarka Jezioro - Rosa Radom 87-94

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tarnobrzeg where 3rd placed Siarka Jezioro (10-15) was defeated by fourth ranked Rosa Radom (8-17) 94-87 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-87. Rosa Radom dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Siarka Jezioro's 24 and made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Nic Wise (178-87, college: Arizona) who scored 21 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import power forward Kim Adams (201-82, college: Arkansas St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Rosa Radom's coach Wojciech Kaminski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Christopher Long (187-87, college: Elon, agency: KMG Sports Management) who recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Jakub Dloniak (192-83, agency: Promotex) added 26 points respectively. Five Rosa Radom and four Siarka Jezioro players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Rosa Radom maintains fourth place in Places 7-12 with 8-17 record. Siarka Jezioro at the other side keeps the third position with 15 games lost. Rosa Radom will face league's second-placed AZS Koszalin on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Siarka Jezioro will play against Kotwica in Kolobrzeg.
