Everything went according to plan when third ranked IK Eos (16-6) defeated on the road 11th ranked Helsingborg (5-16) 83-73 on Saturday. IK Eos forced 26 Helsingborg turnovers. Strangely Helsingborg outrebounded IK Eos 54-27 including a 31-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Helsingborg was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for guard Gustav Nystrom (189-89, college: Hope) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. Center David Hult (204-89) contributed with 24 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Filip Sjostrom (198-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and forward Niklas Sellin (197-91) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Helsingborg. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Helsingborg's coach Rachid El-Hallah rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. IK Eos moved-up to second place in South. Helsingborg lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost.
