Very expected game when 10th ranked Saitama Broncos (11-31) were defeated on the road by first ranked Okinawa GK (33-9) 87-77 on Sunday. Okinawa GK looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Naoto Kosuge (187-82) scored 24 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American swingman Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Okinawa GK's coach Tohyama Kohto used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side point guard Takuma Yamashiro (167-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and American swingman John Humphrey (188-80, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Court Side) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.
