Regular Season Round 27: Jarvenpaa - HBA-Marsky 83-80

Sixth-ranked HBA-Marsky (10-18) was very close to win a game against third ranked Jarvenpaa (18-10). Jarvenpaa managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80. However their fans expected easier game. Jarvenpaa forced 22 HBA-Marsky turnovers. The best player for the winners was Gambian power forward Pierre Jallow (203-79, college: William Jewell) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Jesse Mantyla (197-89) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Henri Niemisto (194-96) who recorded 20 points and Julius Rajala (205-94) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Five Jarvenpaa and four HBA-Marsky players scored in double figures. HBA-Marsky's coach Anton Mirolybov tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Jarvenpaa maintains third place in Division with 18-10 record having just three points less than leader TuNMKY. HBA-Marsky at the other side keeps the sixth position with 18 games lost.
