The game in Treviglio was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Casalpusterlengo (14-12) played at the court of sixth ranked Treviglio (15-12). Treviglio managed to secure a 4-point victory 71-67 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Casalpusterlengo won third quarter 14-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Treviglio made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Riccardo Pederzini (198-89) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Gianpaolo Ricci (200-91) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Roberto Prandin (188-86, agency: Two Points) added 17 points respectively. Treviglio moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Lucca. Loser Casalpusterlengo dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Reggio Calabr.. Treviglio will meet higher ranked Castelletto (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Casalpusterlengo will play against Mirandola and hope to secure a win.
