Regular Season Round 22: Malbas - Boras II 85-72

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Boras II (15-6) against fifth ranked Malbas (13-9) on Sunday night. Visiting Boras II was defeated by Malbas in Malmo 85-72. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Boras II. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Malbas's pressure prevailed and they won that period 30-23 extending their advantage to 13 points. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Malbas forced 19 Boras II turnovers. American point guard Dwight Bankhead (181-83) scored 25 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Kosovan power forward Korab Ferizi (201-85) chipped in 20 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Malbas players scored in double figures. Malbas' coach Henrik Svensson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side forward Mohamed Nefatti (196-84) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Emil Lundstedt (178-94) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Malbas moved-up to fourth place in South, which they share with Jarfalla. Boras II at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost.
