The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Trefl Sopot (17-9) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Anwil (17-9) 69-67. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Trefl Sopot. It was a key game for the second position in Places 1-6. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 17-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Krzysztof Szubarga (182-84) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Anwil moved-up to second place in Places 1-6, which they share with Stelmet ZG and Trefl Sopot. Anwil is looking forward to face Asseco Prok. (#5) in Gdynia in the next round. Trefl Sopot will play at home against Energa Czarni in Slupsk and is hoping to win this game.
