An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tallinn. Third ranked Kalev/Cramo faced their biggest opponent TU/Rock. Host Kalev/Cramo (17-5) defeated guests from Tartu (19-1) 69-64. It looked good early as TU/Rock took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kalev/Cramo had a 16-5 second period charge getting the lead and TU/Rock was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-69. They dominated on the defensive end, holding TU/Rock to just 5 points in second quarter. Kalev/Cramo brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. 35 personal fouls committed by TU/Rock helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. U.S. Virgin Islands center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and Senegalese center Bamba Fall (217-86, college: SMU) accounted for 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 blocks. Five Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Lithuanian center Egidijus Dimsa (205-85) came up with 18 points and 8 rebounds and international center Joosep Toome (208-85) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for TU/Rock in the defeat. TU/Rock's coach Gert Kullamae tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Kalev/Cramo. Defending champion maintains third place with 17-5 record having eleven point less than leader Tarvas. TU/Rock at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Kalev/Cramo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn .
