Very important is a home loss of third ranked Armia (13-4) against fourth ranked Energy Invest (13-5) on Wednesday night. Host Armia was defeated by Energy Invest in Tbilisi 79-64. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and won the game by 15 points. Energy Invest had a 37-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Kyle Nelson (203-89, college: Augustana, IL, agency: N.E.T.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. Cameroonian forward Talba Toudjani (201-80) helped adding 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Energy Invest players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international point guard Giorgi Gamqrelidze (183-86, agency: FCM) responded with 14 points and 7 assists and center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Energy Invest maintains fourth place with 13-5 record. Defending champion Armia keeps the third position with four games lost. Energy Invest will meet league's second-placed Olimpi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Armia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Dinamo Tbilisi.
