Second Stage Round 4: AZS Koszalin - Rosa Radom 82-74

An interesting game for AZS Koszalin (12-14) which hosted in Koszalin 4th ranked Rosa Radom (8-18). Second ranked AZS Koszalin managed to get a 8-point victory 82-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rosa Radom. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Rosa Radom won third quarter 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AZS Koszalin had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) who scored that evening 14 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Pawel Leonczyk (202-86, agency: Promotex) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four AZS Koszalin players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 9 assists by American point guard Nic Wise (178-87, college: Arizona) did not help to save the game for Rosa Radom. The former international power forward Mateusz Jarmakowicz (208-88) added 15 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Rosa Radom's coach Wojciech Kaminski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AZS Koszalin maintains second position in Places 7-12 with 12-14 record having six points less than leader PGE Turow. Newly promoted Rosa Radom keeps the fourth place with 18 games lost. AZS Koszalin will meet at home Siarka Jezioro (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rosa Radom will play against Kotwica in Kolobrzeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
