There was no surprise when 9th ranked Cagliari CUS (3-15) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Umbertide (10-8) 63-58. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Cagliari CUS won third quarter 17-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Umbertide dominated on the defensive end, holding Cagliari CUS to just 6 points in second quarter. American D'Andra Moss (178-88, college: VCU, agency: Regeneracom Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and international forward Sabrina Cinili (190-89) supported her with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Even 20 points by Slovakian forward Barbora Fabianova (182-82, college: Youngstown St., agency: LBM Management) did not help to save the game for Cagliari CUS. Swedish guard Elin Eldebrink (174-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Umbertide maintains fifth position with 10-8 record.
