The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: Sokhumi (#7) and TSU (#8). TSU was defeated at home 71-76 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Sokhumi outrebounded TSU 59-35 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. 30 personal fouls committed by TSU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Sergo Atvashovili (223-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 25 rebounds.
