Regular Season Round 25: Tarvas - TU/Rock 64-94
Date: March 30, 2013
Top ranked BC Rakvere (20-10) recorded its tenth loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by second ranked TU/Rock (19-1) 94-64. The game was mostly controlled by TU/Rock. BC Rakvere managed to win third quarter 12-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 29 personal fouls committed by BC Rakvere helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Justin Ingram (188-85, college: Toledo, agency: Two Points) fired 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Russian center Ivan Nelyubov (207-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Five TU/Rock players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Reimo Tamm (185-84) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) added 15 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TU/Rock maintains second place with 19-1 record behind leader Tarvas. BC Rakvere at the other side still keeps top position with ten games lost. TU/Rock are looking forward to face KK Parnu (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. BC Rakvere will play against TTU (#4) in Tallinn and is hoping to win this game.
