Another exciting game for Monaco (14-10) which hosted higher ranked Cognac (16-9). Eighth ranked Monaco won 81-75. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 27-18 run, which allowed them to win the game. Monaco players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Monaco moved-up to sixth place. Cognac at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. Monaco will play against Saint Chamond (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Cognac will play against Blois (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
