Superleague top team - MIA (16-2) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Kutaisi (10-8) in Tbilisi 72-64. MIA dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Kutaisi's 22. MIA had a 29-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. American swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier, agency: KMG Sports Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. International guard Revaz Rogava (185-93) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. MIA's coach Giorgos Ketselidis used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Azerbaijani forward Davit Barbakadze (203-82) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Azerbaijani guard Zaur Pashayev (188-83) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Kutaisi. Four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. MIA have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-2 record. Loser Kutaisi dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost.
