An interesting game for Grodno-93 (28-1) which hosted in Grodno 4th placed Svisloch (12-17). First ranked Grodno-93 managed to get a 14-point victory 92-78. The game was mostly controlled by Grodno-93. Svisloch was better in third quarter 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 26-of-31 charity shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Grodno-93 forced 23 Svisloch turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Uladzimir Charko (200-74) who scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Andrei Mastou (202-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Grodno-93's coach Andrei Vasileuka allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Ilya Sharipov (198-91) produced 19 points and point guard Oleksandr Dolenko (191-90) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Grodno-93 maintains first place in League with 28-1 record. Svisloch at the other side keeps the fourth position with 17 games lost. Grodno-93's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Sozh Gomel at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Svisloch will play against Rubon in Vitebsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
