The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Den Bosch (28-6) on the court of fifth ranked Leeuwarden on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Leeuwarden 96-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Den Bosch. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-76. Leeuwarden looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Den Bosch helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Leeuwarden is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Rotterdam (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Den Bosch will play against Zwolle (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
