The game in Boulogne was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Le Portel (19-11) played at the court of fifth ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (19-11). Center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (206-94) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Austen Rowland (186-81, college: Lehigh, agency: Court Side) chipped in 14 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Darnell Wilson (198-85, college: Canisius, agency: Court Side) with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Jamaican-American Sherman Gay (201-82, college: Loyola Mary) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. SO Maritime Boulogne moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Le Portel. SO Maritime Boulogne will meet Aix-Maurienne (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. Le Portel will play against Chalons-Reims (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
