Another exciting game for Tln Kalev (9-19) which played on the court of 5th ranked Rapla (14-14). Eighth ranked Tln Kalev won 89-82. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Rapla. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-11. But Rapla won third quarter 25-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tln Kalev made 29-of-36 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Rapla was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Mario Paiste (184-89) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Nigerian-American forward Ike Okoye (206-86, college: Boise St.) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Tln Kalev players scored in double figures. Forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tln Kalev have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 9-19 record. Rapla at the other side keeps the fifth place with 14 games lost.
